China Action Figures is an English-language guide to the world of Chinese action figures — known in Chinese collector circles as 兵人 (bīngrén, “soldier figures”) and, more broadly, 可动人偶 (kědòng rén’ǒu, “posable figures”).

We cover the major Chinese brands across the two most collected scales:

  • 1/6 scale (about 12 inches / 30 cm): the classic military figure format, led by brands like DAMTOYS, EASY&SIMPLE and Soldier Story, plus anime-style figures from studios like Rocket Toys.
  • 1/12 scale (about 6 inches / 15 cm): the fast-growing segment for original characters, blank bodies and stylized releases from brands like Romankey and SexyIce (冰感工作室).
