INART, the premium 1/6 label of China’s Queen Studios, continues its march through Middle-earth. After Aragorn, Gandalf the Grey, Legolas, Gimli and the Nazgûl, the newest licensed addition is the one wizard nobody wants to cross: Saruman the White, from The Fellowship of the Ring.

INART Saruman 1/6 head sculpt with rooted hair

The likeness

The head sculpt is the headline — a strong Christopher Lee likeness with long rooted white hair and beard, deep-set piercing eyes, and the stern, faintly contemptuous expression Lee brought to Orthanc. INART’s rooted-hair treatment (their usual Deluxe approach) gives the beard and hair a natural fall that sculpted hair can’t match.

The regalia

Saruman wears layered, textured off-white robes with embroidered detailing, a decorative belt, and fabric boots — the full White Wizard presentation. Accessories shown in the official reveal:

  • The iconic black staff with spiked crown and white orb
  • The Palantír, shown as a glowing orb in hand
  • Multiple interchangeable hands (relaxed, staff-gripping, orb-holding)

INART credited Mille Studios for assistance on the head sculpt and accessories.

Why it matters

INART has become the reference point for premium licensed 1/6 — rooted hair, real tailoring, screen-accurate paint — and their Middle-earth line is arguably the strongest licensed 1/6 series currently in production anywhere. Saruman fills the collection’s villain slot with exactly the presence the character demands.
