冰感工作室 (SexyIce) is one of the most distinctive original-IP studios in China’s 1/12 scene. Its VERMIN (虫系列) line turns insects into humanoid “artificial evolution” soldiers — and Experiment B0200 Locust is the line’s most heavily armed release yet.

The design

B0200 keeps the locust’s long antennae, compound eyes and exoskeleton-like segmented body, stretched onto humanoid proportions. The torso and limbs are covered in segmented plating, so it reads as a lab-grown insect soldier walking onto a battlefield. Three interchangeable mask modes (A / B / C) change the head’s whole expression.

A full armory

The weapons loadout covers close combat and firearms in one box:

  • M12S pump-action shotgun, two M9-style pistols, K9K compact SMG
  • Two G40F fragmentation grenades
  • “Jack the Ripper” melee set: two scythes and two scythe-swords
  • Holsters, magazines, and mounting hardware to wear it all on the body

Fourteen interchangeable hands and a dedicated display stand round out the posing options.

Built to be handled

SexyIce specs the load-bearing joints in POK plastic over stainless steel, with smaller parts also in steel — a deliberate answer to the wear problems that plague small-scale figures. Backpack accessories lock on with POK parts and metal hooks.

Why it matters

The VERMIN line (following earlier releases like the B006 Ant) shows how far China’s original 1/12 scene has come: this is not a licensed character, not a blank body — it is a fully original concept with engineering to match. For collectors who like their shelves weird and well-armed, B0200 is a statement piece.
