SexyIce (Ice-sense Studio) is expanding its original sci-fi VERMIN line with a new variant of the canine biological weapon: the Zatard Hound Tactical Support Type. First previewed at Wonder Festival 2026 Shanghai, this version trades the standard model’s colors for a striking silver-and-white deco and adds a dedicated weapon mounting module — giving the hound a distinct battlefield role rather than a simple repaint.

The figure

The hound measures about 11 cm long (15 cm including the tail) and is built from PVC, ABS, POK and metal. The set includes interchangeable front and rear legs (left and right), the weapon mounting module, a 3mm stand adapter and a VERMIN series display stand. In the line’s fiction, the Tactical Support Type was developed by EAE from the standard Zatard Hound as a companion support model for UNKVAL combat units — covering fire and area suppression from 50–100 meters behind the squad, plus the standard model’s sensing, tracking, supply and reconnaissance duties.

One important note: the firearms shown mounted on the hound in the promotional images are not included and must be purchased separately — the mount is there, the guns are yours to supply.

Why it matters

The VERMIN line has been one of the more distinctive original 1/12 projects out of China — biomechanical insect and animal weapons with real articulation — and a support-role variant with a functional weapon mount is exactly the kind of expansion that keeps a line interesting. If you already own the standard Zatard Hound, this one reads as a squadmate rather than a duplicate.
