Skull Toyz SK004 Skull Hippie: 1/12 Flaming Skull Biker
Contents
Skull Toyz, a Chinese mainland brand specializing in stylized 1/12 original characters, has opened pre-orders for its fourth 1/12 release: the SK004 Skull Hippie. Where the studio’s earlier Black Iron and Cyber lines leaned into armored soldier designs, this one goes full fantasy — a flaming skull rider dressed like a heavy-metal road warrior, complete with a spiked leather jacket, chains and a skull-faced gun.

The package
The figure ships with two skull head sculpts — a burning “Fire Head” wrapped in translucent orange flames and a darker “Scorched Head” — so collectors can choose between full blaze and smoldering ember. Nine pairs of hands cover every gesture you could need, from fists and menacing claws to pointing and dedicated “inferno” hands shaped around flame effects.
The accessory list is the real draw. A pair of hook chains drapes across the spiked leather jacket, an Inferno Flame Effect bursts upward for dynamic poses, and the Hellfire Blaster — a skull-muzzled weapon with its own translucent muzzle flash — gives the character its signature prop. Everything is built around fire: translucent orange and yellow plastic pieces that catch the light like actual flames.
For display, the wide-stance biker pose in the product shots works straight out of the box — legs planted, blaster raised, flames erupting. The alternate head and flame effect let you rotate the mood: swap in the scorched skull and stow the blaster for a quieter shelf piece, or pile on every flame piece at once for maximum spectacle. At roughly 16 cm tall, the figure sits comfortably alongside other 1/12 releases from brands like Joy Toy and Fury Toys.
Why it matters
Skull Toyz occupies an interesting corner of the Chinese 1/12 scene. While many studios chase licensed properties or hyper-detailed historical figures, Skull Toyz builds original characters around bold silhouettes — the kind of design-first figures that read instantly from across a room. The Skull Hippie is the most expressive of the line so far, trading the soldiers’ hardware for flames, chains and attitude.
Retail listings put the full price at ~$73–95 depending on the shop (onesixthkit lists $83 with a $23 deposit, berry beary $83, toyzmetaverse $73, Tokullectibles $95), most pre-orders closed 18–20 October 2026 (retailers may still accept late orders — check before paying), with an estimated release in Q2 2027. For collectors who like their shelf with a little hellfire, this is one of the most characterful 1/12 originals from this pre-order round.
